Importing RSS Feed as Collection

You can import an external RSS feed as a collection.


  1. Navigate to omniContent \ Collections.
  2. Select Create from action menu in top right corner.
  3. Enter RSS feed in the input field. For example https://www.pbs.org/newshour/feeds/rss/podcasts/world
  4. If you want to import categories from RSS feed, select Import Category.
  5. If you want to create a page for imported categories, select Create Page.
  6. If you want to check for duplicate page names, when page is crated select Page Find duplicates.
  7. If you want to create page title and page url in search optimization, select Create Search Optimization.
  8. Click Import. RSS feed information will be imported a new collection is created.
  9. If you would like to import RSS feed picture as a collection media file, click Import Picture next to Picture link.


Note: by default only RSS feed information is imported. RSS feed content is not imported. It will be loaded on demand when RSS feed is displayed.
